I just saw the film yesterday – this is one of the saddest things I have ever seen. This is so important and it makes me more cautious to look out for products with palm oil, and to avoid them in the future. I have been to Borneo and have seen this in real life, and it really is terrible. We weren’t here first and we have no right to do this to other creatures.

      It’s heartbreaking to see this…
I felt so angry and so sad to what we do as humans…
I will spread this video to others… more people need to see this!

This is one of the most disturbing documentaries I have ever seen and trust me, I watch a lot of them about the environment, conservation, animals and marine life. One of the most disturbing things for me is the inhumanity seen in Asia- how everything is a commodity including these poor animals that simply want to live out their lives in the forest, their home. I can not understand what would posess someone to hurt and abuse an orangutan they see. It saddened me greatly when they put the orangutan in the bag in the middle of the movie and at the end- like it was this thing, forgetable. Mother nature will certainly have the last laugh if we continue like this. If we did this to humans, it would cause a war. We can not abuse the planet like this. Indonesia and Malaysia need to get their heads on straight and STOP the abuse and rape of theirir rainforests. The laws need to be harsher and people need to get educated.

Thanks for making this film. I just watched it this morning on Aljazeera on my way to work & cried all the way. There was no need for narration, the pictures themselves said it all. I’ve forwarded this to all of my friends who have kids & hopefully we can start examining some of our consumerism behaviour. Thanks again.
